Perfection

Hello fellow enthusiasts and practitioners, my main goal is to make these articles from now on as simple as possible through images as the old adage, a picture is worth a thousand words while giving explanations on my mental state while doing these challenges.

my virtual machine froze in the process of doing a previous hash before i got the successful one leading me to lose my reverse-shell and re-doing the method on burp was not catching input even though I saw status 200, so i was grasping at straws trying to gain access again, but decided to test out ssh and it surprisingly worked.

what i learned:

-the commnad hash id, to be able to tell what is included in the hash to save time.

-a ruby exploit, how to hide input from a server on ruby using %0A.

-how to use ssh, as a last resort.

- being calm under pressure, there was not really a walkthrough since the box is still active.

Till next time,
